Core requirements

Sterile environment in pharmaceutical sterile workshops, hygienic ventilation in food processing workshops, and temperature and humidity control in medicinal herb/food drying workshops.

Dedicated technical adaptation

Sterile and Hygienic Ventilation The pharmaceutical aseptic workshop employs a “total exhaust + laminar airflow supply” system. In Class A areas, the air supply velocity is ≥0.36 m/s. The air undergoes four-stage filtration—primary, medium-efficiency, high-efficiency, and sub-high-efficiency—to ensure sterility. The ventilation system in the food processing workshop is made of stainless steel, with smooth inner pipe surfaces free of dead corners, facilitating easy cleaning and disinfection. At the same time, the workshop maintains a slightly positive pressure to prevent external contamination.

Drying and Process Gas Control The medicinal herb/food drying workshop is equipped with a ventilation system featuring “hot-air circulation + dehumidification.” The temperature is controlled within the range of 30–80℃, and humidity is adjusted according to the specific requirements of the materials. The fans are controlled by variable-frequency drives: during the initial stage of drying, a high air velocity is used to quickly remove moisture; in the later stage, a lower air velocity is employed for heat retention, thereby enhancing drying efficiency. The ventilation system in the disinfection workshop is fitted with an ozone decomposition device. After disinfection, exhaust ventilation is activated along with fresh-air replacement to ensure that the ozone concentration drops below 0.1 mg/m³ before allowing personnel to enter.

Compliance Assurance The ventilation system design complies with GMP and food safety production standards, and its components—including filters and fans—have received hygiene certifications. The central control system can record ventilation parameters, ensuring data traceability to meet regulatory requirements.
