Core requirements

Smoke and dust collection in the welding workshop, volatile organic compound treatment in the painting workshop, removal of metal chips and oil mist in the machining workshop, and equipment heat dissipation.

Dedicated technical adaptation

Welding Fume and Coating VOCs Control The welding stations are equipped with mobile welding fume extractors, or large-capacity fume hoods are installed at the workshop ceiling, paired with frequency-controlled exhaust fans. The operation of these fans is linked to the on/off status of the welding equipment, thereby avoiding unnecessary operation when no welding is taking place. In the painting workshop, a combined ventilation system—comprising “dry filtration + activated carbon adsorption + catalytic combustion”—is employed to treat VOCs generated during the painting process. The emission concentration is kept below 60 mg/m³, while maintaining a slight negative pressure within the workshop to prevent the spread of paint mist.

Mechanical Processing Oil Mist Treatment Oil-mist collection hoods are installed above equipment such as lathes and milling machines, and the collected oil mist is routed to an oil-mist purifier. The purified air can either be recycled or discharged outside the workshop, thereby reducing energy consumption associated with fresh-air supply. In the heavy machinery assembly workshop, large-diameter industrial ceiling fans are installed along with sidewall exhaust fans to ensure efficient air circulation throughout the workshop, helping to lower indoor temperatures caused by heat dissipation from equipment.

Energy Conservation and Operation & Maintenance Optimization The central control system collects data on the operating duration and energy consumption of ventilation equipment in each workshop, and automatically reduces the fan speed during non-production periods. The filter elements of oil mist purifiers and welding fume extractors are equipped with resistance monitoring; when the resistance exceeds the specified threshold, the system automatically alerts users to replace the filters, thereby preventing equipment overload.
